The colonial style villa ‘Villa Montaner’ is located on a hillside in a quiet part of Palma called Son Roqueta and is within easy reach of the city’s bustling old town and the beaches. This manor house build in 1922 was once the residence of noted General Jaime Garau de Montaner, in 2018 the house was refurbished completely in keeping with it’s integrity and old world ambience but with all modern amenities.
The house is build on 3 levels with in total 8 luxurious en-suite bedrooms. On the 2nd floor there are 5 spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and there is an open plan home theatre to enjoy a movie night.

One of the rooms was build in the tower and has a private terrace with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and even the sea.

On the first floor you will find the heart of the house: an impressive state of the art kitchen with a very large cooking island, high-end appliances, a dining table and direct access to a terrace with a small dining table overlooking Palma. This kitchen is the perfect scene for a most sophisticated soiree.
Alongside the kitchen is the sitting room with a fire place and French doors opening onto the terrace, overlooking Palma.
There is a dining room with a sizeable table and seating for 16 persons, perfect for long lunches and dinners. On this floor you will also find two bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, one of which still has the original bath tub of General Garau.
The last bedroom can be found on the ground floor.
In the terraced garden you will find a black tiled heated lap pool with underwater music. The shaded outdoor kitchen comes with an extensive dining table that seats 20 persons comfortably. Overlooking the swimming pool there is a covered lounge area that is great for reading or relaxing with an afternoon drink. We can really recommend this remarkable mansion for groups or families traveling together.
